While sending mails through your

denied / IP name lookup failed”? |
| A.10. |
The error message can be caused since the ISP’s IP address
you are coming from cannot be resolved to a name or you are
not logging to SMTP server with user id and password.
Check whether you have checked the option my server requires
authentication in your outlook express for the account you have
created.
Our SMTP Server mail2.webindia.com / mail4.webindia.com has

| Q.11. |
While sending mails through your
mail server, I am getting an error message as “Connection
to the server mail2.webindia.com / mail4.webindia.com could
not be established”? |
| A.11. |
Can you kindly test in the dos prompt the following commands?
telnet mail2.webindia.com 25 and telnet mail2.webindia.com
110 (or)
telnet mail4.webindia.com 25 and telnet mail4.webindia.com 110
However telnet to port 25 (send mail) or pop3 (110) should
work.
If that doesn't work, first to check if there is reachability
problem to our network, try ping and tracert to 204.176.140.1
which is in the same network as mail2/mail4 and accepts these
requests. If that works fine then please send the date/time
and the IP address from which you tried pop3/smtp to mail2/mail4.
Please note that ping and tracert to mail2.webindia.com /
mail4.webindia.com won't work because we have blocked it our
